Intersections for Impact: A Forum on Health, Environment & Education

From 3–4 November 2025, young people, experts, educators, and changemakers gathered in Brussels, Belgium, for Intersections for Impact, a unique forum exploring how health, environment, and education intersect to shape a more sustainable future.

Together, we demonstrated how collaborative, youth-driven action can create meaningful, long-lasting change.

Over two vibrant days, more than 50 participants engaged in a wide range of panel sessions, workshops, and networking spaces designed to spark dialogue and inspire action:

  • Keynote Speaker Lena Schilling, Member of the European Parliament (Greens), setting the tone for intersectional solutions.
  • Panel 1: Health, Youth & Climate, exploring youth-led initiatives and the impacts of climate change on physical health.
  • Panel 2: Education & Climate Change, highlighting innovative educational strategies for climate literacy and resilience.
  • Climate Fresk Workshop, an interactive and participatory deep dive into systemic climate challenges.
  • Panel 3: Cross-Sectoral Collaboration, presenting partnerships between the health, education, and environmental sectors.
  • Digital Escape Room, designed in the project Sustainaware, offers an immersive experience on sustainability, justice, and youth engagement.
  • Mini-Fair & Networking Lunch, providing space to connect with youth-led organizations, including:
    – The Earth Society
    – European Climate Pact Ambassadors
    – Mediterranea
    – Climate Fresk

A special thank you goes to the Sustainaware Youth Technical Advisory Board. Their perspectives, enthusiasm, and expertise enriched the project Sutainaware and the event.
