Youth Technical Advisory Board

Youth Technical Advisory Board (YTAB) will be established at the beginning of the project and will act as both a consultative body for different processes as well as a pool of youth experts for hands-on involvement in WPs. This group will also provide advice and will monitor the progress of project activities. The YTAB will consist of 10–15 interested young individuals who will be deeply involved throughout the project to provide youth perspectives, commentary and feedback on different phases of development of the facilitated digital escape room experience. They will engage through online and in-person opportunities outlined in different WPs.

Juliane Mirow

Juliane Mirow, a passionate public health professional from Erfurt, Germany, focuses on planetary health and climate tipping points. She completed her BSc in European Public Health at Maastricht University in 2023, graduating Cum Laude. Currently with KLUG, the German Alliance on Climate Change and Health, Juliane is pursuing a cross-European MSc in Global Challenges for Sustainability. 

Her specialization in life and health enhances her knowledge in sustainability sciences and social innovation. Juliane excels at the climate-health intersection, aspiring to integrate her expertise and ideas into her work. Dedicated to creating an equitable, sustainable society, she advocates for climate resilience and environmental protection.

Ewout De Vos

Ewout is a game design freelancer who focuses on level design and 3D art. His spare time is spent exploring nature, accompanied by his photo camera. He loves to tell stories with his photos, and over the years photography has become an integral part of him. 

While out exploring, he loves to travel around Europe in any season, as long as there is nature around.

Fanevamampiandra Herinirina

Fanevamampiandra Herinirina  is the President and co-founder of Fianaralab, member of IKALA STEM, ambassador of Diasporeines Africa in Madagascar, alumni of Grenoble-INP, renewable energy engineer working in the field of energy and innovation.

She has two master’s degrees in renewable energy and applied physics course materials for energy.

She is working as Energy and Network Innovation Officer on the loan of the SIEL Management Committee in Saint Etienne, one of the largest unions in France that works in the field of energy and the network. Its mission is to support municipalities in the Loire department in energy and network innovation. 

Klevisa Kapo

Klevisa Kapo is an experienced business researcher and project expert, offering professional services to start-ups, SMEs, NGOs, and educational institutions. Her expertise includes market research, project proposal writing, project management, business planning, strategic design, data analysis, consultation, and training. Her project proposals have secured up to 600,000 euros in funding, aiding projects in innovation, digital finance, big data, social entrepreneurship, tourism, education, sports, youth, and vocational training.

Kapo holds degrees in Development Economics & Local Systems, Business, Innovation, Leadership, and Finance from institutions in Italy, Slovenia, USA, and Albania. She is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Florence, researching entrepreneurial ecosystems in semi-peripheral countries, and a Certified Innovation Professional by the Global Innovation Management Institute. She also won the “Prešeren Award” for the best Master Thesis at the University of Ljubljana.

For the past two years, she has lectured on Innovation & Technology Management, Business Communication, Marketing, and Economics.  She is the founder of Neocortex Hub, focused on local systems, entrepreneurship,  innovation, sustainability, education and digitalization.

António Pinho

António Pinho is a Medical Doctor based in Porto, Portugal. He is currently collaborating with WHO Europe on the Evidence into Action Alcohol Project (EVID-ACTION), serving as a member of the Youth Network and part of its Advisory Committee. He has an extensive background in associative work focusing on youth engagement, health management, and public health topics. 

António has been a member of the local Students’ Association, where he spearheaded a health management congress for both young people and professionals, among other projects. He has also represented medical students at the National Medical Students Association and authored articles in several newspapers on pressing youth and health issues.

Stefan Stojanovik

Stefan is a pharmacy student and youth advocate from North Macedonia. He’s been involved in many youth initiatives throughout the years ranging from local to international. Currently, his main focus is on mental health and youth issues concentrating on youth welfare, career development and young health professionals. Although now he’s also putting focus on environmental issues as well.  His proactivity, willingness to make a change and be a positive and contributing member to his community and beyond is what drives him being an advocate for the youth. His experiences include participating in local projects, various student bodies, student organizations such as AIESEC LC Skopje and EESTEC LC Skopje, as well on an international level such as UNICEF North Macedonia, UNICEF ECARO Western Balkans Initiative and WHO Europe’s Youth4Health Network.

Austėja Sakalauskaitė

Austėja has just finished her second year of medical studies and holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Business. She serves as the Secretary General and a Lithuanian Medical Students’ Association (LiMSA) board member. She has been elected as the Vice President for International Relations for the upcoming term in the association. Austėja is also an active volunteer in the global health community, participating in various events and conferences, and holding membership in WHO Europe’s Youth4Health Network. 

With a strong interest in global health, Austėja focuses on vaccination and immunization, climate and health, mental health, and advocacy. Her commitment is demonstrated through her extensive volunteer work and involvement in numerous health initiatives. She is actively contributing to Lithuania’s health policies by participating in events and discussions with the Lithuanian Health Ministry. Notably, she led the writing of a resolution advocating for government-funded tick-borne encephalitis vaccines in Lithuania.

Elnur Arifzade

Elnur began his academic journey in 2017 with a Bachelor’s in Ecological Engineering and earned a Master’s in Environmental Protection and Sustainable Use of Natural Resources in 2021. He is currently a PhD candidate in Environmental Technology and Engineering.

Since 2021, Elnur has been a dynamic force in Scouting, serving as a scout leader and National Programme Commissioner for the Association of Scouts of Azerbaijan. He leads eco-scout events in national parks to raise ecological awareness and volunteers with the International Dialogue for Environmental Action (IDEA), participating in initiatives like Trashtag and environmental training.

As a full-time youth worker and freelance trainer, Elnur educates young people on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and climate change. His sessions empower youth to contribute positively to a sustainable future. Elnur’s blend of expertise, enthusiasm, and humour inspires those around him, whether leading scout troops, spearheading eco-projects, or delivering workshops.

Evie Prokesh

Evie is an advocate and researcher specializing in child health, nutrition, and climate issues. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Medical Pharmaceutical Sciences and will pursue a master’s in Global Health at Maastricht University. Evie chaired the Summer School Global Health in the Netherlands for two years and interned at SickKids Hospital in Toronto, optimizing treatments for severe childhood malnutrition.

As a youth leader for Act4Food, she advocates for better nutrition globally. She is also a ‘Youth in Philanthropy’ fellow at Elevate Children Funders Group, promoting youth engagement in philanthropy. Additionally, Evie serves on the boards of Msichana Empowerment Kuria, which combats violence against girls, and Sustainaware, an educational initiative for climate action.

Passionate about mobilizing youth, Evie is dedicated to advocating for children and fostering a sustainable, inclusive future that ensures health and well-being for all.

Hasmik Torosyan

Hasmik Torosyan is a biologist dedicated to the conservation of endangered species. With a Master’s in Science, she combines academic excellence with field expertise, tirelessly working to protect vulnerable wildlife and their habitats. Parallel to her scientific endeavors, Hasmik is a youth worker with a background in supporting young people from rural areas. 

Her experience includes several years of mentoring, organizing educational workshops, and creating inclusive community programs that empower youth to pursue their aspirations. Hasmiks’s involvement with the Erasmus Student Network has been particularly impactful, allowing her to foster intercultural exchanges and broaden her global education and youth development perspective.

Elio Rrapi

Elio is a PharmD graduate with experience working in community pharmacies and academic settings.He has partaken actively in healthcare conferences organized regionally and internationally by WHO , The Albanian Ministry of Health,The University of Medicine in Albania as well as the Pharmacist Order of Albania and the EU.He has taken part in initiatives ,as organizer ,regarding youth health and healthcare in marginalized groups.

He has been active in events and trainings regarding healthcare as well as climate effects on it.In the latter he has gained experience from different trainings and opportunities regionally and also as part of initiatives regarding ecology in his country.He also likes to meet new peers who share these interests as well as have a liking for exploring different cultures.

Ilija Franeta

Ilija Franeta recently finished master studies at Central European University in Vienna, focusing on climate policies in Southeast Europe and the MENA region. Currently, he is supporting investment policy and promotion at the World Bank. Before joining the World Bank, Ilija worked for the UN, the Embassy of Montenegro, and for the Vice President of the Austrian Central Bank, focusing on green finance initiatives and policies. 

Ilija is excited to bring his expertise to the Youth Technical Advisory Board and work together with talented individuals who share the same aspiration of promoting environmental sustainability, empowering youth, and driving positive change across Europe and beyond.

Evangelia Savvidou

Evangelia Savvidou is a Medical Doctor and Master’s student in Public Health and Health Policy. She collaborates with the WHO Regional Office for Europe on the Evidence into Action Alcohol Project (EVID-ACTION) as Greece’s Youth Representative and serves on the Youth Alcohol Network Advisory Board. An Academic Associate at the Laboratory of Primary Health Care, General Medicine, and Health Services Research at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, she focuses on medical education and research in primary health care and public health.

Evangelia is passionate about health science communication, exemplified by her Primary Care Dialogues Podcast. She writes for the Medical Student Alliance for Global Education at ScholarRx and coordinates the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) Youth Black Sea. An experienced peer educator and trainer in health and climate topics, her main interests include public health, planetary health, child and adolescent health, medical education, and sustainable development.

Beatriz Alves

Beatriz, 23, is a Portuguese student passionate about human rights and public health, currently completing her Master’s in Psychology. She addresses global challenges such as humanitarian crises, NCDs, gender violence, climate health, and sustainability.

Active in volunteering since high school, Beatriz began by teaching Portuguese to foreigners in Viseu. Her involvement now spans various European projects and conferences on human rights and climate health. Her thesis involves creating an online platform for families at risk of cancer, reflecting her interest in participatory methodologies.

Beatriz values technology for innovative solutions to global issues and aspires to leadership roles, having served as president of a youth musical association. A tea-addict and avid writer, she has published work in Brazilian textbooks and sees writing as activism. She dreams of an international career where kindness, sensitivity, and strong-mindedness drive significant impact.

Alex Lew

Alex Lew, 28, is an ocean climate solutionist passionate about the interconnection between Ocean Health and Human Health (OHHH). He was a youth speaker and moderator at the Cultural Wisdom for Climate Action event in Bangkok, Thailand, organized by the Southeast Asian Cultural Heritage Alliance (SEACHA). SEACHA promotes effective government-community partnerships in cultural heritage management. 

Alex also presented at the Raoul Wallenberg Institute’s workshop on Climate Change, Human Mobility, and Human Rights, discussing disinformation on climate change in Thailand and Singapore. Additionally, he participated in a multi-disciplinary research collaboration centered on the Asia Pacific region. Recently, he was selected as a PEMSEA delegate representing Singapore at the 4th East Asia Youth Forum.
